Yoga is a physical
practice. If you are new to yoga or this type of
exercise it is recommended that you
participate is a "Gentle Yoga," "Yoga Basics,"
or "Healthy Backs Flow," before moving on the
other classes.
Remember that yoga
is a personal journey and is not
competitive.
Gentle Yoga
Explores gentle movements to increase
flexibility, strength and well-being. Students
are led through stretches, yoga postures and
breathing practices, then guided into deep
relaxation.
Ideal for those with chronic
pain or stress, those returning from illness or
injury, or anyone who would like a gentle
approach to practicing
yoga.
Yoga Basics
A great class
for those new to yoga. Poses, breathing and
relaxation will all be covered in
detail.
A strong foundation is very
important to a successful yoga practice. This
class is also beneficial to intermediate and
advanced students. Returning to the basics and
refocusing on breath, lines of muscular energy
and stillness will make your advanced practice
stronger.
Healthy Backs Flow
A complete flow for
the whole body with extra focus given to
tight and restricted muscles and joints of the
back.
Great for the new comer or
for someone who wants a kinder gentler Yoga
Flow.
Vinyasa
Flow
Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic
class which matches breath with movement and
strength postures. A tenacious work out
designed to challenge the body and the
mind.
A class for the advanced
beginner. Special focus is given to
strengthening the core and improving balance.
Ashtanga
Mix
Ashtanga Mix is suggested for all
students interested in a more vigorous form of
yoga. A quick paced and physcal Yoga
practice. Focusing on the
introduction Ashtanga postures peppered with
classic Yoga postures and power breath- Ujjayi.
Hatha Flow
A slower yoga
focusing on postures and proper alignment. Hatha
yoga classes will strengthen, stretch, tone and
relax your entire body.

sports, Hatha yoga class can benefit you.
Fusion
A blend of
Yoga, Pilates and Strength Training designed to
give you a dynamic full body workout with extra
attention on the core.

Anusara Inspired
Anusara Yoga is becoming
one of the most popular types of yoga in North
America. It is a vinyasa style practice that
emphasizes heart opening through backbends and
physical alignment.Anusara
Yoga often begins with a quote
from yogic philosophies bringing
the lessons learned in yoga
class into daily life. It focuses
heavily on alignment and utilizes partner work for
a deeper understanding of the asanas.
Yoga at the wall
A fun and unstructured class that uses the wall to
support you in your yoga asanas. Utilizing the wall
reinforces alignment. If you are looking for something fun and different to
break up your routine you should definitely try this class.
Sivananda
A Sivananda yoga class typically starts with
resting in Savasana followed by rounds of
sun salutation before the standard
program of the 12 basic asanas. Sivananda
focuses on preserving the health and wellness of
the practitioner and revolves around frequent
rests and yogic breathing.
Slow Flow
Especially good for those who would
like a refresher on the basic balance between
effort, ease and surrender. This class
will move slower yet stronger to build
strong foundations to further the practice.

while exploring basic postures.More advanced
poses, breathing (pranayama) techniques, and relaxation skills will also be

Align With the Heart
A complete flow class that emphasizes
opening the chest and rib
cage through backbends. This
relaxes the tight muscles of the shoulders and
neck. A great class for improving
posture.
Mind/Body Yoga
A gentler class focusing on the fundamentals of yoga and calming the mind with meditation.
